Christmas here is designed for people who appreciate exceptional hospitality, beautiful surroundings and meaningful moments, not a ticketed party night with three hundred strangers. Office party, client dinner, charity night or family gathering: the house is yours for the evening.

Prices include VAT. A deposit secures your date; the payment schedule and final-numbers date are set out in your proposal. Drinks packages, live jazz and rooms are added to any package.

How many people can you host?
From 8 for a lunch to 40 for a gala dinner in Orchidée, and up to 50 for a standing reception across the house. Bar Nocturne takes 10 to 30.
When can we book, and which dates go first?
Dates run from Monday 26 October to Wednesday 23 December. Fridays and Saturdays in December go first, then Thursdays. Festive lunches run Monday to Friday. Ask us about New Year's Eve at Nocturne.
What's included, and how do we secure a date?
Every "from" price includes the food, the room and the styling listed on the package. Drinks packages, live jazz and bedrooms are added to your written proposal. A deposit secures the date; final numbers and pre-orders are due two weeks before. TBC
Can we take over the whole house and stay?
Yes. The Property Buy-Out gives you Maison Carlton and all nine bedrooms at No.4 Carlton, a festive dinner or buffet, Bar Nocturne, and breakfast the next morning, for up to 40 guests.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergen-aware dishes are written into every festive menu. Tell us when you send pre-orders and the kitchen takes it from there.
Is it only for companies?
No. Families, friends, clubs and charities book the same packages, and December Sunday lunches are made for family gatherings.
How do guests get here, and is there parking?
Carlton Crescent is a ten-minute walk from Southampton Central station and from the Christmas market in the city centre, and a short taxi from the cruise terminals. On-street parking and public car parks are close by. TBC
Both houses are listed Georgian buildings; Orchidée is on the first floor by the main staircase, so tell us about any access needs and we'll plan around them.
Can we book Christmas 2027 now?
Yes. Fridays go first, so early bookers get first choice of dates. Tell us the month and the size of the party and we'll hold a provisional date.
